Social Media Lingo

Social media is moving faster than the language needed to support it. Some people get left behind as a result, and they say things that may sound a little strange. I want to fix that, at least in the insurance and reinsurance social media community. There are two big ones that bug me:

You don’t write a blog – you write a blog post. The post is the article (or story, etc.). The blog is the thing the story is put on.

Are you twittering? Probably not. Instead, I bet you’re tweeting. You tweet a tweet on Twitter.
